Girl Effect and Gavi: creating demand for the HPV vaccine

By creating demand for the HPV vaccine in developing countries through the empowerment of girls, Girl Effect’s partnership with Gavi stretches far beyond immunisation, featured in an exclusive Q&A with Girl Effect's CEO, Farah Ramzan Golant.

The Q&A follows a panel discussion about Innovative approaches to adolescent girls health at the European Development Days (5-6 June) in Brussels, featuring Girl Effect, Gavi - the Vaccine Alliance, The ONE Campaign and the Dutch Ministry of Affairs, exploring how innovation and private sector expertise can help further the gains already made for adolescent girls’ health in developing countries.

Gavi works in partnership with Girl Effect to create demand for HPV vaccine and encourage broader health-seeking behaviour by adolescent girls, using Girl Effect’s youth brands in Rwanda, Malawi and Ethiopia.
