Claire Tavernier

Claire comes from the digital media sector, where she has spent 20 years working with large media conglomerates and emerging digital start-ups.

From 2001 to 2012, she was the global head of digital for international television producer FremantleMedia, working on digital activations of Idol, Got Talent, X Factor, Price is Right and Family Feud as well as setting up an original online production operation and negotiating major commercial partnerships with YouTube and others. She was Managing Director of ChannelFlip (now part of Endemol Shine Beyond), one of the original UK-based online multi-channel networks, until 2015, steering it to high revenue growth, diversification and profitability. Most recently she ran her own consultancy, StoryTechLife, working with clients such as Sky, Turner Broadcasting, Channel 4 and Spotify.

Claire is a non-executive director of YouTube talent discovery network Instrumental. She is also on the board of the UK organisation WomenInGamesJobs, working for the promotion of women in the gaming industry.
